I could live in Berlin. It's full of creative energy. It's dirty and gritty with exciting places to explore. It reminds me of NYC in the 80's.

Man in Uniform
I'm about to go on vacation. As a send-off, I'm posting a few pictures from a recent session. Everyone loves a man in uniform, and I love SPANKING a man in uniform! What a wonderful, fun session. Here's what he had to say:
I just wanted to take a second before I leave Austin and thank you for the wonderful time this
afternoon!...You were correct - I was very nervous walking up to your door but
you have a wonderful way about you and I felt comfortable immediately!...I want
to thank you for "pushing my limits" and allowing me to try almost
everything in your arsenal!...(Still nervous about the whip!)...The cane was
absolutely incredible - what an amazing rush!...I felt "all of the
stripes" all afternoon in the rest of my meetings! Thank you
again for the amazing time Lady Alchemy...You are very sweet and I look forward
to my next blissful moment over your knee very soon!...(especially with the
fast cane strokes!!!)...

Photos and Art at my Etsy Shop
I've been very busy so far in 2013, making photographs and paintings as well as modeling for various photographers, and having great fun in sessions, too! I've been posting art and photography pieces for sale in my Etsy shop. Please take a moment and have a look. If there is something you like or you think a friend would like, please do make a purchase or forward the shop link on to that friend. Not everyone can afford a BDSM session and I realize that. Not everyone is interested in that sort of thing - I realize that, too! BDSM and art are my means of expression, the keepers of my sanity, and the ways I make my living. Go check out the art pieces. Some prints are only $10 plus shipping. Everyone can afford that.

Dallas Footnight was a Blast!
The Dallas Footnight Party last week was so much fun! Carpooled with some fun ladies from Austin. We had an attentive chauffeur who made sure we were fed beforehand. I highly recommend The Twisted Root in Deep Ellum. Our driver also took us to Leather Masters for a little shopping before the party. I wasn't aware of this store previously and I'm so thrilled to know about it! I thought I would have to visit Los Angeles or San Francisco again for some brick and mortar corset and toy shopping.
Mercenary Mistress, Crimson Rush, and I ready for some shopping.
The party took place at an awesome two level venue with great music and lighting, a spacious dressing room, plenty of comfy seating, and a helpful staff. Hostesses Ashlee Chambers and Mistress Daria were friendly and welcoming. We even got a rockstar introduction from Ashlee. I met lots of fun, upbeat people and had a great time. Photographer Dirk Hooper was there and took some awesome shots. Can't wait for the next party!
Human carpet!Yay!

Communicate. Question. Clarify.
I've begun reading The Usual Error. The gist is that people continuously make the subconscious error of assuming others think exactly like them. We're different and those differences can be cultural, due to upbringing, religious beliefs, astrological signs, life experience, and simply the way we are wired. Once we are aware of the usual error, we can take steps to correct it. Communicate. Question. Clarify. Establish boundaries. Determine compatibility. Sometimes there is none and that is okay.

GLI7CH Video Trailer Is Online!!
A while back I had a part in a video for a band called GLI7CH. The song is called Carnival, and a trailer for that video and some others is now posted at WWW.GLI7CH.COM. In the trailer, listen for the guy saying "here come the freaks now", look for the title "Carnival", and there's a quick shot of me, then Mistress Erzsebet, then Sir Nik (ever the showman). The site looks & sounds GREAT! I can't wait to see the full video! They've got a myspace page as well, so if you like what you hear, go add them! www.myspace.com/gli7ch.www.ladyalchemy.com

The Panic Channel @ the Dragonfly
After work last night I went down to the Dragonfly & caught most of a short acoustic set by The Panic Channel. It was a benefit show & the place was packed. Rather than fight the crowd to get close, I resorted to holding my camera over my head to try & get a few photos. I'll probably trash the rest, but I really like this one of Steve Isaacs. Saw a few friends there & it was a good time. Tried to go outside for a cigarette after & was stopped by security asking me if I had a wristband. Huh? Then I saw Dave Navarro standing a few feet outside the door. Okay. Security tells me to go around & come outside from the other door. Whatever. Make my way through the club & as I'm nearing the other doorway, there's Dave standing there again. No hassles from security this time. It's a good thing, or I may have had to resort to grabbing the cigarette from Navarro's hand. Don't try & keep a girl separated from her nicotine, dammit!
Ms. X and I wandered down the street afterwards to a little corner bar she had spotted on her way to the Dragonfly & I got her a birthday drink. The place is too cute. Dark booths with fuzzy pillows, a big stage area, large outdoor patio, and friendly patrons & staff. It was karaoke night & although you will NEVER see Ms. X nor I onstage singing, we had a lot of fun watching everyone else.

Hahahahaha. Nuthin' like kickin' Elmo when he's down!!!

New Logo
It took me the better part of a day to come up with this (I'm no graphic artist!), but I really like it. This logo will appear on my web photos from now on, in place of the plain font I had been using.www.ladyalchemy.com

Just For You, Daryle
Yes, I know, I haven't blogged in ages. To be honest I've been having a hard time lately & it's difficult to focus on the positive. As I sit here typing, my jaw aches from clenching it & I've smoked far too many cigarettes today. My stress level is high. I'm angry and frustrated. I really can't say much about this except that it revolves around the music industry and my photographs. The past month has been chock full of battles over copyrights. You have no idea how shitty the music business can be.
Yeah, I have an idea how shitty the music business can be. That's probably why I never got off the ground. I wasn't prepared to be that shitty. Give me a call. Tell me what's going on.

On a lighter note, I was an extra in the Panic Channel video for Why Cry, which was shot downtown on June 16th. That was fun. Photo by Gianna C.

Back to Blogging
Hmm, I haven't posted a blog in ages. There's been a lot going on. Club DV8 once a month, Severe Society at Malediction every Sunday, photo shoots, and I'm continuing to scan concert photos from my archives. Working on a painting as well & just received an email notifying me of four upcoming art shows. The photos I shot at the March 3rd L.A. Guns show at the Whisky are going to appear on the packaging of a live DVD. Excited about that.I'm going to backtrack & fill in the blanks a bit with posts & photos from the past month....

DJ Billy Morrison
My roomate & I went down to Santa Monica tonight to a gallery show for Geoff Thomas Designs. Geoff makes some incredible rings, necklaces, belt buckles, and bikini tops (those were my favorite pieces!) of silver, copper, and semi-precious stones. He's also a talented sculpter and painter as well. I wasn't familiar with his work at all until I heard about it on Billy Morrison's website.Billy was there playing DJ for the evening & having a great time. He played Ministry for me & The Skids for my roomate. We hung out chatting for a while. Ricky Warwick & Billy Duffy were there as well (check out the new band Circus Diablo). It was nice to see them. Billy M. claimed to have been nervous at the beginning of his set, but by the end he was experimenting with scratching cd's, which was hilarious. There was an open bar, so he correctly assumed at that point it didn't matter what was coming out of the speakers - no one noticed.
