Yay! I saw Queens of the Stone Age play tonight in Ventura. They were great & I'm thoroughly enjoying the post-show ringing in my ears. Josh Homme is the most unlikely rock star, isn't he? I mean, he looks like an (American) football player. Such a departure from the usual cookie cutter heroin chic rock star look. The opening act was called The Eagles of Death Metal. I'm not kidding.
