The past few days have been pretty hectic as far as making phone calls & running errands to prepare for the move, so tonight I took a little bit of time to decompress. Took some photos of the sun setting near South Middlebush Road. Pretty sky. Went grocery shopping with Penny & bought really sinful yummy things to eat (General Tso's Chicken and New York Super Fudge Chunk, baby!) & then went to Blockbuster & rented The Village. Wow! I was expecting (hoping) to be scared by it, but it was nothing like what I expected. The cinematography was STUNNING! What a gorgeous-looking film. Countless frames would hold their own as still photos on a gallery wall. The scene of Lucien & Ivy sitting on the porch would make a great painting. Now you've got to see the movie to figure out the reference. HA! The characters were likeable & the story interesting enough to ponder long after the credits stopped rolling.
